Hi guys - this weekend I'm planning my first ever overclock - and I just want to check I'm on the right lines!

Relevant kit:
Core 2 Duo E7500
4gb OCZ Titanium DDR2 800mhz PC2-6400
Asus P5b-e plus
(with 500w coolermaster psu and vista 64)

From what I read, I think the e7500 multiplier is locked at 11, with a stock fsb of 266mhz, and that the ram has a maximum stock speed of 400mhz.

So... my aim is to raise the fsb (slowly!) up towards 400mhz, which is comfortably within the ram's limit, with regular stress testing etc... is that right?? Just want to check!!!

And do you think with air cooling 400mhz fsb is possible on the above kit?

Thanks!!
