Did you follow the registration instructions on the disc?

I get the same with BoostSpeed, even though it says Trial expires in 180 days.

As for installation instructions, I can't find any! Just an install button.

I followed all the instructions for O&O Defrag and a message appeared saying registration was now done manually and it would take up to 48 hours before I received the activation code - that was SIX days ago. Is anyone actually processing our registrations???

O&O Defrag 14.5 won't allow me to register for a code - says offer expired. This is disc 218 for December 2012. The magazine says expiry is 12 January 2012!!!!! Surely this should be 12 January 2013? Any suggestions?

I paid extra to purchase the DVD edition of your magazine specifically to get this FULL version of Auslogics BoostSpeed 5.
As the other posters stated above, a registration code is required by the software manufacturers to enable full use of their product, otherwise they only offer to fix ten problems out of one thousand their scan found on my pc! This code has not been provided with the install instructions on the product page of your disc, and I can find no mention of PC PRO on the Auslogics website.
Your magazine cover states - "6 full products worth £174", and unless you supply a registration code to allow full use of this product, then you are guilty of false advertising. You haven't bothered to reply to the other posters on this topic for weeks on end now, so if you don't reply to my post, and resolve this issue, I will have to get the OFT involved.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to a happy resolution,
WS

I remember following the registration instructions on the disc and not being asked any code.

Are you sure you read the instructions, and when I say read I mean read.

The registration pages are not kept online indefinitely - this giveaway was from October 2012.

All very well saying that now, months later, but people have been having problems right from the start, when the magazine was still on the shelves. And they got no solutions or even courtesy replies then either. Does anyone from PCPRO ever look at these pages? Do they even care? Is it fair to say that the whole coverdisc and free software thing is just a joke and a sham offer to catch unsuspecting people who've never been unlucky enough to buy PCPRO before? I used to have a high opinion of PCPRO, and trusted their reviews and opinions, but not anymore. If they're happy to con me with a coverdisc, how do I know they won't con me with an untrue review of a product from a big advertiser?
