...but what am I missing? There's nowhere to enter it that I can see... I'm just stuck on the same page asking me to click to register/get a serial!

How to install Paragon Disk Manager?
I've used previous versions of this software so eagerly tried to install it (XP Pro). It starts up OK and gets to the screen where is suggests I click to register/get a serial which I do and go to the website and obtain a product key and serial number...

How to install Paragon Disk Manager?
I also tried to install Paragon HDD Manager but when it arrived at the register screen and I hit the enter key, I got the same screen again.. and again.. and again!!! So gave up. Pity as it is a very useful software.

How to install Paragon Disk Manager?
Hi Cecil_EPU. After 4 attempts at loading the s/w, and copying the url, and, being unable to copy/paste the id & ser num, and adding them 1 character at a time, I finally got the s/w loaded. Thanks for the info.

It was all down to a very poor user interface and total lack of instructions.
Keep clicking into various things and eventually there was somewhere to enter the details!
Having been involved with programming at many levels for MANY years I know it only take a LITTLE thought to make a user interface user-friendly!

Hi trentham1
The full instructions are to be found on the PC Pro interface, which normally automatically runs when you place the disc in your drive. If you run this interface, you will be guided through registering and installing the software step by step. We do not recommend you manually launching the installers as you will miss out on various important information that is needed to successfully install the software.
For more information, please read this thread under the heading "Please use the cover disc browser".
marktwo2 - glad to hear you managed to register and install the software.
If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to post on the forum again.

I did indeed use the cover disk initial screen and from what I recall it simply said something like, go back to the installation wizard and enter the details in the fields provided but there ARE no fields provided, unless you go hunting for "Hard Disk Manager 2010 Special Edition" and then decide to click on "Install...". It's not obvious since the impression is that I AM already using the installation wizard.
It wouldn't have been hard for the instructions to have explained this!
