Setting Voltage manually on GIGABYTE motherboard
So far I have overclocked the processor to 3.83GHz (13*295MHz) at 46C under load, but any small increases over that are unstable or refuse to boot.
The board's BIOS has an intelligent management system (M.I.T. Intelligent Tweaker) that automatically adjusts the voltages for overclocking. When I adjust them manually the thing refuses to boot, and it won't allow RAM:FSB ratio of 2:1 (only 2.66, 3.33 or 4).
I want to try and push it further but I think I will need to adjust the voltages myself. CPU-Z is telling me that the Vcore voltage is pretty much always set to 1.33V, from a default of 1.28ish, even when on a much lower OC (3.2 GHz ish).
Does anyone have any ideas how to get a little further?
