How to install Android on the HP TouchPad

Getting involved and supporting the project
We’ll keep on playing with our Android TouchPad, and we’re looking forward to future releases bringing more features and better stability. If you want to find out more about Android and the TouchPad, the installer link is above is a good place to start – it’s hosted on the RootzWiki forum, which carries extensive discussions about Android development, ports and news.
For more general information about the CyanogenMod team, visit the official website, where you’ll find more discussions, blogs, news and Android ROMs not just for the TouchPad but for a huge range of smartphones and tablets. You can also support the project and show your thanks for CyanogenMod’s work on the TouchPad by making a donation: there’s a link at the bottom of the front page.

Very useful
Although I think I'll wait until it comes out of Alpha testing before installing.

Spotify
Can you tell me if Spotify run on this?
I have a premium account and would love to use the tablet connected to my hifi, much better than my tiny ipod.

Is this useful?
The only functionality I find missing from the Touchpad is arrow keys on the keyboard, and navigating spreadsheets using the keyboard. The only excess functionality is the rotation, which is somewhat over enthusiastic.

No GPS in my Touchpad !
I have the UK Touchpad 32G (picked up in the fire sale). Mine does *not* have a GPS. It has Bing Maps and it (Bing) is pretty good at locationg where I am using Wi Fi Hot spot information.

One step that is left out of this...make SURE your touchpad is 100% charged before you begin this process.
