Privacy experts are concerned by the shallowness of Google's reply. "Google's response is really poor, unprofessional and fails to provide the requested information," said Yaman Akdeniz, director of Cyber-Rights & Cyber-Liberties UK. "I think Google definitely has more information on you which for some unknown reason it is not providing."

A Google spokesman told PC Pro that all the personal information it holds about account holders can be accessed from its website.
