The Chrome Task Manager, accessed using , updates Chrome's tab memory stats in real time, and allows you to kill any process that's gobbling up indecent amounts without bringing the entire browser to its knees.

About:plugin provides information about your currently installed browser plug-ins, ranging from BBC iPlayer to perennials such as Shockwave.

About:network offers a complete rundown of Chrome's network traffic, revealing every last tracking tag, image and background process running on the sites you visit, once you click the "Start I/O Tracking" button.

About:stats delivers performance metrics for various Chrome components, including the V8 JavaScript engine and Google Gears, which may be of particular interest to developers looking to make their sites run smoothly on Chrome.
