From around the web
Bose do some interesting 2.0 speakers at around £100, and a 2.1 set for £170 or so. Would love to see a review of these. Saw some in Comet the other day.

Does not compute!
I don't get this. The whole point of this combo is that it overrides the crappy sound card of the PC or laptop. How can an amp and speakers from Richer Sounds- with no built-in D/A conversion - be better? Surely they would simply be amplifying the inherently inferior sound. Then you'd need to buy a separate D/A converter (DAC Magic, anyone?), which would easily blow you over the £400 mark. The Teufel looks like a bargain in comparison!
