Product ReviewsGraphics cards
The WinFast PX7900GT uses a slightly slower version of the graphics chipset found in the obscenely expensive GeForce 7900GT cards. At £214, it still isn't cheap, but it offers a heap of 3D grunt for a fraction of its big brothers' price tag. Just like the 7600GT, the 7900GT has 256MB of DDR3 memory. However, that's where the similarities end, as the memory runs at nearly twice the speed. Unsurprisingly, the Leadtek raced past the Inno3D and almost doubled its score. Even turning up the details to their maximum in Call of Duty 2 resulted in a smooth and playable frame rate. Despite its higher price tag, the PX7900GT is still great value for money. It actually offers very slightly more performance per pound than the bargain MSI 7600GT. If you can stretch to its slightly higher price tag, it will keep games looking their pristine best for some time to come. By Sasha Muller SPECIFICATIONS:
