The loser in our group test is undoubtedly the Olitec. A gimmicky remote control is useless unless it works more often than half of the time, and we had serious concerns about how well adapted to the UK phone system this modem is. We spent a lot of time trying to make it work, performing various Flash upgrades on the advice of the technical support people.

In the end we threw our hands up in despair. Our calls to technical support had reached double figures. Steer clear of this modem.
