Product ReviewsProcessors
For a long time, the fastest Pentium 4 lagged significantly behind the fastest Athlon, even though the Pentium 4's clock speed has been higher from the very start. Finally, however, Intel has recaptured the speed crown from AMD with its 2.53GHz chip, that comes in just a nose ahead of AMD's Athlon XP 2200+. Unfortunately, along with its impressive speed the 2.53GHz P4 also comes with an equally imposing £600 price tag. It's good, but compared to the Athlon XP, it isn't that good.
