Product ReviewsProcessors
This processor is basically a cut-down version of the Pentium 4 with a slower front-side bus and a smaller Level 2 cache. It's performance is decent but, disappointingly, isn't much better than that of the 1.4GHz Celeron. It's also a fair bit worse than the Duron. If you want to build a system that's ready to take a Pentium 4 but don't have the cash for a P4 yet, this Celeron is a great way to get off the starting block. If all you want is a cheap processor, however, the Duron is better. By Karl Wright SPECIFICATIONS:
Socket 478, 400MHz front side bus, 20K Level 1 cache, 128K Level 2 cache. Sponsored Links
