The Spacecam 360 is almost the same as the 320, but it has a USB 2 connection rather than the older, slower USB 1.1. This means it should be able to transmit more data to the PC, adding up to a higher quality picture. This isn't the case.

The 360's video footage is much grainer than the 320's. In our tests the 360 also suffered from flickering and artefacts either when it was first switched on or when adjusting to changes in the lighting conditions. In areas of uniform colour or texture there was lots of speckling and distortion. As with the 320 there was also some motion blurring when there's any fast movement.

The supplied software is also identical to the 320's - corny, but it does the job. The design is also identical - not pretty, but solid - although it still lacks a clip to fit over the top of a flat-panel display!

Sadly, the better features of the 320 haven't transferred to this - more upmarket - model.
