The frame rate and video quality of this camera are the best in the test. The QuickCam will take still photographs at a resolution of 1.2 megapixels. Only a few years ago, you would have had to buy a proper digital camera to get that kind of detail! The Logitech ImageStudio software is by far the best all-in-one package on offer here. It lets you capture video, use your camera for security surveillance, stop-motion animation and time-lapse photography. You also get MGI's Photosuite SE and Videowave SE too. We also liked the software controls for zoom, pan and tilt. The only downsides were the microphone, the quality of which was a bit poor, the USB cable is a bit short - and the price. Otherwise, it's a great cam.
