LabsBuying a Webcam
The PC-Cam is less of a webcam, and more of an ultra-budget digital stills camera with a webcam option. It comes complete with a colour LCD screen at the back for reviewing your shots, 16MB of built-in storage and a slot for adding more memory in the form of SD cards. The camera can take still images at a resolution of two million pixels, but its cheap lens means image quality is only good enough for party snaps. It also takes ages to actually snap the picture, so any moving objects are affected by motion blur. In webcam mode, frame rates are very smooth, but quality is no match for the Logitech For Notebooks Pro. On the plus side, the PC-Cam 880 comes with video editing software, and its webcam software is easy to use. SPECIFICATIONS:
