The ClickSmart is Logitech's answer to Creative's PC-Cam 300. As well as handling webcam duties, it works as a stills camera while away from the PC. However, unlike the Creative, it doesn't record video clips or work as a dictaphone. It has no flash either, so you can't use it at night.
The quality of still images was just as poor as with the Creative. This was disappointing, but at least in this case you're not paying a whole lot extra for this feature.
As a webcam, the ClickSmart performed better, but its frame rates weren't as smooth as those of the Creative. The software bundle isn't as good either, but the automatic features do make it simple to download and organise photos.
