LabsWhich Webcam?
The WebCam Pro is a solid, no-nonsense webcam at a sensible price. Installation is simple - under Windows XP you don't even need the CD to get up and running in NetMeeting. Frame rates were more than acceptable, as was image quality. There's not a great deal of software, but the PC-Cam Center is easy to use and lets you record video clips and stills for e-mailing or uploading to a Web site. WebCam Monitor is fine for basic surveillance, while Ulead PhotoExpress provides a useful collection of photo-editing and cataloguing features. It may not be the prettiest or the most feature-packed webcam on test, but it's cheap and it does its job well. SPECIFICATIONS:
