LabsWhich Webcam?
As well as being a webcam, the PC-Cam 300 is a standalone digital camera capable of storing stills, video clips and audio. It also has a built-in flash, and an LCD display that makes it simple to use. The Creative impressed us in webcam mode. Good frame rates (even at 640x480) and decent image quality mean you'll look your best. However, its ability to be used as a digital camera proved something of a gimmick. The photos we took couldn't be described as 'photo' quality, and they were miles off what you'd achieve with a proper digital camera. As you're paying extra for the privilege of a poor-quality stills camera, we'd recommend avoiding this webcam. SPECIFICATIONS:
