We could finish this review in seven words: it's fast and good value, buy it. To be fair, however, not everything was plain sailing. The Devolo software makes you manually enter the security code of any adapter you want to connect to. Sensible as this is, since it stops neighbours on the same fuse box snooping your signal, it means you can't simply plug in and go. Even when we'd entered all the codes, the product inexplicably wouldn't connect, and even when we repaired the network connection, we had to reboot before it would work. Once it did work, however, we were delighted: our test files simply flew across the network. This is the cheapest of the 200Mbit/sec twin-packs and clearly the fastest product on test. It's definitely worth the extra money. If you're thinking of buying power plug adapters, look at these first.
