D-Link's adapter is the only one in this group that isn't built according to a HomePlug Alliance standard. We were all prepared to criticise it for that, and make a pointed remark about how it wasn't compatible with any of the other adapters here. In the end, however, despite all being built to HomePlug standards, most of the adapters here were only compatible with products of their own brand. This makes it redundant to criticise D-Link for being the only adherent to a rival standard. On the other hand, we would draw your attention to its mediocre transfer speeds. For this kind of money, you're far better off buying the Devolo Starter Kit - it's effectively the same price and it's an awful lot faster. We watched some HD video over a network connection using first one product then the other, and results with the Devolo were far smoother and more enjoyable.
