Verdict:
Lived up to its shiny looks in the benchmarks, but peripherals are poor. An impressive PC, but for the mismatched sound card and speakers and the poor screen.
Cyberpower has used a bit of technical geekery to push the processor of the Infinity Quad GTS faster than Intel thinks it should go. But don't panic, you really can get Core 2 Duos to run quicker than intended without breaking them or causing system instability. By overclocking, Cyberpower has successfully added 560MHz to the processor speed for a big boost to performance, as our tests showed.

also high, as Cyberpower has used the 640MB version of the nVidia 8800 GTS graphics card. This is better at high-resolution gaming than the 320MB, so it's a welcome inclusion given the high 1,680 x 1,050 resolution of the accompanying Yuraku M2BABW TFT.
This sadly proved to be an even worse model than the Yuraku screen supplied with the Advance Technologies PC. The stand was one unwelcome similarity, as this screen flopped around in its mounting too. We had to set the brightness even lower (to 28%) and dial down the contrast (to 72%) to get a proper black, but this dulled the image dramatically. The backlight was so uneven that a sepia tinge crept in from the top.
The X-FI Extreme Audio sound card did little for games, and the speakers weren't of sufficient quality for us to hear the difference it would have made to music. Amusingly, Cyberpower supplied a PS/2 mouse with a PC that only has a PS/2 keyboard port. The sound card should have been sacrificed for a USB mouse and a better screen.
