LabsWireless routers
You probably won't want to make it the centrepiece in your living room - its sci-fi antennae and smurf-blue casing aren't pretty - but the WAG325N has plenty in its favour. It's the cheapest router here, good value for draft-n, and that includes a built-in ADSL2+ modem. Like the Netgear, though, it doesn't have gigabit network ports at the rear or a USB port for either security settings or printing. Setup is via a CD-based utility, but the WAG325N's web interface baffles you with myriad options and then annoys you by restarting the router every time you make a change. At least the options include Quality of Service, and wireless speed was above average. Overall, we'd spend the extra £7 on the Netgear. SPECIFICATIONS:
