Virgin's Lobster grabs ITN News for mobile TV

Virgin Mobile has added ITN's 24-hour news channel to its mobile TV service. ITN will supply rolling home and international, sport and entertainment news, designed specifically for mobile phones.
Virgin's Lobster 700TV handset now provides five live broadcast channels, with ITN News joining BBC 1, ITV1, Channel 4 and E4 and now ITN News. It also supports up to 50 DAB digital radio stations.
The mobile TV phone service is free customers on a contract of £25 a month or more or also on pre-pay for £199, which includes TV for an initial three-month period, followed by a charge of £5 a month. BBC 1 will be available on a trial basis for 12 months and will be provided free as will the DAB digital radio stations.
The TV service broadcasts over DAB digital frequency spectrum, covering 85 per cent of the UK population.
