The winner will be armed with a FinePix F30 Zoom and accompanied to a yet unnamed location by globe-trotting, adventure photographer Bill Hatcher. Second and third placed photographers will also receive the camera, while fifty runners up will win a copy of the recently published National Geographic Field Guide 'Action and Adventure'.
This competition, which is not open to professional photographers, asks the entrant to interpret the theme 'morning, noon and night' through a series

Entrants should ensure that the three shots, along with a brief description (no more than one hundred words), provide a complete picture of the chosen subject, while capturing the essence of the changing day.
Will Rolls, Marketing Manager-Digital Imaging, Fujifilm says: 'Shooting a feature for National Geographic magazine is recognised by some professionals as the ultimate photographic achievement. The theme of 'morning, noon and night' is central to what Fujifilm is about - we are highlighting the fact that the next generation of digital cameras will have to have the sensitivity to perform in all lighting, not just bright sunlight. We're anticipating a phenomenal response to this competition.'
