The DRU110A also features bundled software to get you authoring DVDs (and CD-R and CD-R/W discs) out of the box as well as applications that let you drag and drop files onto the drive just like using Windows Explorer. The software also lets you make backups of important data (but not copyright material) and enables DVD playback.

With 4.7Gb of room on a single-sided DVD+RW disc, that's a lot of data, or around two hours of DVD quality video.

The drive is compatible with all Windows flavours from 98SE to XP.
