Different systems with different resources and ppt versions run the presentations at different speeds, so maintaining consistency between soundtracks and slides is a disaster.

Coffeemonster: There's no need to learn Flash just to output to the format - I strongly recommend trying out the trial of Articulate Presenter to see how simple converting presentations complete with accompanying voice-over can be.

I use powerpoint to create multimedia presentations for charities and the lack of export to flash/silverlight is a huge problem. Different systems with different resources and ppt versions run the presentations at different speeds, so maintaining consistency between soundtracks and slides is a disaster. I would be delighted if I didn't have to take the time to learn Flash.

Just want to add. There is another one PPT to Silverlight convertor available at CodePlex. Might be worthy for anyone to try.
