Coming Clean

TFT cleanerI hate mucky screens. Watching people stick their fingers on a screen makes me cringe – I prop my hand up on the bezel and point with a midair finger, or a pen, in preference to making the slightest smudge.

Which is why I am quite delighted that Maplin have a TFT screen cleaner on sale at half price, that actually does a good job.

The triangular shape and stiff backing mean it gets in those corners, and the squirty spray gets rid of embrrassing projectile sandwich remains, and yet leaves no trace of streak behind.

This should be such an easy thing to do, and important since we all gawp at screens morning, noon and night. But I’ve spent a lot more in the past and got a lot less…

    This reads like an advertisement.

    @Ellie

    It’s Steve Cassidy FFS, if he was going to bother, would it be for screen cleaner?

    Thanks JP, now I feel in the same class as Lady Astor… I would have thought that mentioning anything available for half price would have been taken in the intended spirit: seems like you can’t please everyone!

    (it’s weird how the whole back-hander/shill topic comes around – one of the office crew mentioned it today in the printer offer, a client just asked me about it… it doesn’t seem to matter how often we say that we don’t take backhanders, don’t bias the copy, don’t do favouritism: the knockers just sneer and exclaim “well they would say that…”)
