Lack of blu ray doesnt effect the games much thus is not relevent to a games console, very simple.

Peter and lionhead were perfect for this project, making rpgs for a living means they no a thing or to about ai and response. This Is one to watch.

BluRay or the lack of it is a distraction. My kids use their 360 every day and the lack of a BR drive or any sort of HD drive, doesn't bother them.

What I want to know is how much of the Molyneaux movie is fake - don't tell me that boy's speech is being artificially generated on the fly.The MS demo is clearly too good to be true...

Jon - I think what's really hampering the XBox 360 (and pushing people in Sony's direction) is the lack of Blu Ray support. When is Microsoft going to wake up, realise they backed the losing side in the format war, and offer Blu Ray both externally on new models and as a plug-in drive for older kit, like they did with the HD DVD drive?

Until that happens, anyone that cares about technology simply isn't going to pile their cash into a games system that's so 'media-challenged'. And that includes both consumers and businesses.
