I gues, since the battery is not replaceable, there will be a burgeoning market for those little charging packs and solar chargers (and I've also seen mention of later future iPhones having a built-in solar panel behind the screen)

Safari on the iPhone is a stunning browser, but like pcernie says, the keyboard lets it down. Normally the iPhone can make a good stab at eliminating typos, because it knows which letters are likely to come next in a word. But that all flies out of the window with URLs. I reckon I probably get a 90 - 95% accuracy rate when typing URLs, and that's enough to be annoying.

The other problem area is cascading CSS navigation. It's impossible to use some times with a touch screen. I really wish you could switch into a mode with a clickable mouse/cursor, a bit like how the lastest BlackBerry browser.

It all comes down to the size of the screen regarding browsing, Joe Public just can't be bothered staring at a tiny screen for any amount of time. And that's assuming he can be annoyed typing in web addresses with the iPhone...
